DESIGN TRUST: CRITICALLY HOMEMADE ACROSS 18 LOCATIONS IN 8 DISTRICTS THROUGHOUT HONG KONG IN CITY- AND ISLAND-WIDE EXHIBITION
Following the initial DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade prototype exhibition in September, the DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Winter Showcase presents 39 selected designs to the broader community in a dynamic and diverse city- and island-wide exhibition across 18 locations in 8 districts as well as online - providing the public with different opportunities and options to experience the initiative from now until early 2021.
In addition to being featured at individual Design Trust Champions throughout the city, the Citywide Exhibition features a number of special activations that bring the Winter Showcase across different iterations to different parts of the city.

DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Select Showcase
DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Select Showcase will debut at K11 MUSEA in a month-long exhibition featuring selected designs that will be reproduced and sold by various Design Trust Champions.

DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Collectors Showcase
DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Collectors Showcase will be exhibited at THE SHOPHOUSE in Tai Hang; the gallery will host a 3-day preview of original prototypes available for purchase as one-of-a-kind collector’s items via silent auction.

DESIGN TRUST Milestone Book Launch Celebration at K11 MUSEA
As an important platform for progressive design and innovation, K11 MUSEA will be the host for the launch of the inaugural first edition DESIGN TRUST Milestone Portfolio; the definitive reference of the wide-ranging and deep impact that Design Trust has had on Hong Kong and its position as a global capital of design, the Milestone Portfolio provides an in-depth review of all the research projects that the organisation has supported since its establishment in 2014.

DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade Pop-up at Inter-island Festival
From 4-6 December 2020, the Inter-Island Festival will be held in Peng Chau and Mui Wo by Design Trust Feature Grantees Myriem Alnet, Chan Chun-kit and Yip Kai-chun. Selected designs including “SWEAT (Simple Workout Exercises and Training)” - Frédéric Gooris (Design Trust Seed Grantee) and Paulina Chu will make an appearance at the Inter-Island Pop-up, as will the Design Trust Milestone Portfolio.

Business of Design Week 2020 Culture & the City Panel: DESIGN TRUST Critically Homemade
Pushing the boundaries of progressive design across many of its businesses, Chinachem Group will join a thought-provoking Design Dialogue as part of the upcoming Business of Design Week taking place 30 November – 6 December. DESIGN TRUST: Critically Homemade curator and Design Trust Co-Founder / Executive Director, Marisa Yiu, alongside Donald Choi, CEO of Chinachem, ka-pok founder Arnault Castel, and the designers Michael Young and Clara Brito, will participate in a lively panel discussion focusing on the transformative role of Design, Culture and the City.
