The ongoing pandemic has fundamentally altered how people associate with their surroundings, particularly the things we touch. Small bottles of hand sanitizers have become a staple handing off every bag and in every pocket. With individuals going through several bottles a month, the proposed design by New Office Works is a playful documentation of one’s hand sanitizer usage - the transformation of empty bottles of various shapes and sizes into functional objects. The traces of its use has been rendered into the repurposed bottles, creases and ridges left by each squeeze highlighted in the matte white finishing of what is now a miniature vase for flowers.
