Design Trust Seed Grant project “Liquid Homes: Living, Building, and other Stories from Hong Kong Fishing Villages”, the exhibition “To Float in a World too Heavy” opened at PMQ Hong Kong. Inspired by the fluid state of living in the fishing villages along South China coastline, Liquid Homes draws on the format of “floating exhibition” in collaboration with emerging designers and curatorial practices across the region, presenting stories, research and historic re-reading of alternative living in Hong Kong. Co-curated by Design Trust grantees Su Chang and Tianying Li, the exhibition showcases explorations of human-centric concepts and participatory acts of design.
