The issue accompanies the itenerant exhibition series “Endless Garment,” the first of which was staged in March 2021 at X Museum in Beijing. Published in partnership with X Museum in Beijing and the International Library of Fashion Research (Norway), and co-edited by curators and scholars Jeppe Ugelvig and Cheuk Ng (Hong Kong), Viscose’s “Asias” issue seeks to tackle the behemoth and pluralistic concept of Asia, with particular focus on the Pearl River Delta.
