This book aims to capture the stories of theses talents whose unique work are not only comparable to but sometimes exceed that of the international standards. Raymond hopes that our talented pool of professionals, through the international publication and distribution of this book, can be shown to the world inclusive of the Greater Bay Area, that the city of HKSAR not only possesses fascinating architecture designs, but that the city itself also produces many talented architects and designers.

Grantee: Raymond Wing Kee Fung

Professor Raymond Fung JP; FHKIA; Hon AIA(HK), is a renowned ink-painter, architect and awardee of the Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Designers' Award and 50 major awards in visual arts, architecture and interior design.  He was formerly the Honorary Architect and a current Adjunct Professor at the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently Board Member of HK Palace Museum, Committee Member and Member of Acquisitions Committee; Member of the Development Committee of WKCDA, LCSD Museum Expert Adviser, Advisor of Hong Kong Observatory Strategic Committee. LCSD Museum Expert Adviser, and advisor of Hong Kong Architecture Centre.

 

He has published over 100 articles and several books including “誰把爛泥扶上壁” (published by Chung Wah Book Co.), “The Art of Raymond Fung, 馮永基藝術作品集” (published by HKU Museum).
