Looking back on DTFS2019 “Heritage is Innovation” Design Dialogue. Followed by an introduction and opening by lead curator Marisa Yiu (Co-founder / Executive Director, Design Trust), designer mentors Hunter Tura (President and Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Mau Design), and Alexander Groves and Azusa Murakami (Co-founders, Studio Swine) discussed on the impact and role heritage and identity have on their design process. The presentation was followed by meaningful discussion between the DTFS 2019 mentors and mentees, along with Design Trust advisor Beatrice Leanza and DTFS 2019 guest associate curator Merve Bedir.
