Unique

Inspired by the iconic Five Finger Mountain, this abstract interpretation captures the mountain’s distinctive five-peaked silhouette, resembling the outstretched fingers of a hand. In Chinese culture, mountains symbolize strength, stability, and spirituality, often seen as bridges between the earthly and the divine. The name itself evokes the imagery of a giant hand reaching toward the heavens, a metaphor for ambition and aspiration.

For Cynthia, this painting carries a deeply personal message. From a young age, she was taught that life is shaped by one’s own hands— that hard work and determination are the keys to achieving one’s dreams. "5 FINGER MOUNTAIN II" serves as a reminder of this belief, a visual testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of striving toward one’s goals.

The work has been auctioned off during the Charity Auction on March 22nd 2025 and creatively loaned by the generous bidder for Design Trust Charity Exhibition: Transformational Exceptions.
