Archival Inkjet Print
Michael Wolf’s Architecture of Density Scouts is a photographic exploration of Hong Kong’s overwhelming urban density, capturing the facades of high-rise buildings as abstract, almost painterly compositions. The “Scouts” are preliminary studies Wolf created while developing his larger Architecture of Density series. They function as experimental compositions, testing how fragments of facades could be framed to emphasize repetition and abstraction.
