Upcoming | Open House Hong Kong 2025 in partnership with Design Trust
We are pleased to share that Design Trust Impact Grant programme Open House Hong Kong (OHHK) 2025 will return and take place on two weekends of November 22nd – 23rd and 29th – 30th supported by Design Trust Impact Grant as Lead Partner. Building on the the inaugural edition in 2024, the 2025 edition of OHHK returns with a theme of "What Makes a Good City?", exploring the multiplicity of places that constitute a liveable and vibrant city. |

Since its establishment in 2014, Design Trust has been offering grants to individual designers, curators, collectives as well as non-profit organisations, supporting over 223 research projects supported by Seed Grants and Feature Grants. Design Trust Grant Recipient | “The World of Lines” by Rui An Ho presented at the exhibition entitled “Chronologies” at Institute of Contemporary Arts at NYU Shanghai
Design Trust Feature Grant recipient Rui An Ho presented the research documentary “The World of Lines” at the exhibition entitled “Chronologies”, at Institute of Contemporary Arts at NYU Shanghai. Examining the history of the textile industry between the ends of two major river systems in China, namely the Pearl River and the Yangtze River, the project focuses on the shifting relations between labour, technology, and capital. The exhibition is now on view until December 20th 2025. |

Upcoming | Design Trust Charity Benefit 2026
The upcoming Design Trust Charity Benefit 2026 is scheduled for Saturday March 21st 2026, in support of DESIGN TRUST initiative, created in 2014 by registered charity Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design that was founded in 2007, to build robust initiatives on community, heritage related to sustainability programmes and Hong Kong’s forefront role in design, culture and creativity in the context of Greater Bay Area and internationally. |
