The Cabaret Series featured performances focused on the idea of “excess” from Ethel Baraona, Gary Chang, William Lane, Thomas Tsang, Charlotte Lafont-Hugo & Gilles Vanderstocken, and Ashley Scott Kelly. Performances ranged from interactive games about the absurdity of urban planning, to New Complexity music and performance art. Throughout the space of Studio 9, the excesses and dynamics of Hong Kong were analyzed, dissected and expressed.
