At the Exhibition Public Workshop II, Design Trust Futures Studio Hong Kong-based Mentor Gary Chang started the evening with a sharing on the topic of “the City is Your Home”. The “Part(k) of the City” team then presented their railing micro-park concept and shared their social experiment. Guest speakers Aron Tsang (Napp Studio), Anthony Ko (Dilemma), Maggie Ma (Domat) and Hannah Yim (Domat) also talked about their experience on railing interventions.
The presentations were followed by a thought-provoking discussion with special guest respondent Dr. Kacey Wong and moderator Marisa Yiu (lead curator). The discussion focused on how railing interventions can enhance public space, and the borderline between legality and illegality.
