Save the date for our upcoming exciting Design Trust Futures Studio 2019 “Heritage is Innovation” Design Dialogue. With presentations by Alexander Groves and Azusa Murakami (Co-founders, Studio Swine) and Hunter Tura (President and Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Mau Design), followed by panel discussion with DTFS 2019 Mentors and Mentees moderated by Marisa Yiu (Co-founder / Executive Director, Design Trust). Join us and find out how heritage and identity plays into design.
As part of Design Trust Futures Studio 2018, the four design teams will be presenting their initial concept designs for our future parks. This half-day event will engage the public through presentation of the teams’ initial concept, round-table discussion from the advisory team, leading experts from the field, as well as the general public. M+ / Design Trust Fellow, Fan Lok Yi will also share their current research on Shek Lei Playground.
Design Trust Futures Studio is pleased to present the “Future of Urban Parks: Principles, Prototypes and Policy”, a public lecture featuring internationally renowned architect Richard Hassell, Co-founder of WOHA, in dialogue with Hong Kong-based architects and sustainability experts.
