About The Ambassadors' Ball 2015
Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design presented the seventh edition of the Ambassadors’ Ball. Net proceeds from this annual fundraiser benefits the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design in particular, Design Trust, the grant-making platform which was launched the year prior.
This annual benefit is a hallmark of this vibrant city’s societal calendar and benefits from the generous patronage of a guest list par none of the city’s elite movers & shakers, captains of industries, design industry influencers and stakeholders, art connoisseurs, creative talents, collectors and society icons.
This year’s event brings together a passionate group of individuals and organizations, united by the desire to celebrate and promote Hong Kong’s rich community of creativity and design. Appointed as Creative Director for this year’s Ball is multi-talented artist, Adrian Wong. Together with a troupe of talented performers and musicians, he presents ‘Tales from the Fragrant Harbour’ against a backdrop that is one of this city’s most iconic dining institutions, Maxim’s Palace. In addition to the performances, as in past years, with our live and silent auctions, guests may expect some exceptional and limited edition works of art, furniture and décor from some of the most celebrated names in international art and design circles, as well as those from several influential Hong Kong designers.
