Exhibition Helper (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Design Trust is looking for a dynamic and organized individual to engage in all areas of being an Exhibition Helper for the final exhibition of DESIGN TRUST FUTURES STUDIO, our new flagship programme from 13th October to 2nd November. Duties include:

Work closely with the Design Trust Futures Studio programme team:

-Setting up for the exhibition and workshops, moving of exhibition models, setting up of logistics, exhibition, workshop facilities, and breakdown of exhibition etc.

-Assist and ensure smooth running of the exhibition

-Answer enquiries, monitor exhibition visitors, and handing out feedback questionnaires

Requirement:

-Good communication skill in English and Cantonese (Putonghua is a plus)

-Interest and passionate with design topics

-Relevant work experience is preferred

Administrative Position

Design Trust is looking for a dynamic, organized team member to engage in all areas of being an Administrative officer/ Administrative Manager (title and position depending on experience) for the Design Trust initiative and projects related within the HKAoD organization.

  • - Prepare financial and development presentation materials, proposals, reports and other confidential documents.
  • - Support all internal and external communications.
  • - Ensure daily operations and generalist functions are executed.
  • - Maintain and update administrative filing in a systematic way, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • - Provide support to the Executive Director and Board, such as managing daily calendar of appointment schedule, grantee outreach and meetings.
  • - Support, organize and coordinate events.
  • - Assist colleagues in ways that optimize procedures such as database management
  • - Coordinate with outside consultants or departments, external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth daily operation.
  • - Maintain trusting relationships with grant recipients, and external stakeholders.

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Design Trust is looking for a savvy and outgoing Development Coordinator who will handle our fundraising efforts. The individual will be working closely with all board members in reaching out and maintaining patron relationships, and pitching sponsorship opportunities to brands. Duties include:

  • Attend social and networking functions
  • Maintaining communication and relationships with patrons/trustees
  • Reach out to potential sponsors
  • Executing all donation and sponsorship documents
  • Plan and support the committee on the annual gala activities.
  • Work closely with Executive Director and board to identify potential donors
  • Set up donation schemes

*Excellent communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua is a must

DESIGN TRUST INTERNSHIPS

We are currently seeking interns in all areas (from research, graphic design to budding curators). Interns play a key role in the accomplishment of our mission, and gain access to our staff and network of advisors, architects and designers here in Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta.
