Design Trust Futures Studio (DTFS) is pleased to present “Play is for the People”, an exhibition reflecting on the creative processes and collective design for four distinct locations across Hong Kong. On view at a new storefront venue in Sai Ying Pun from 17th to 29th of January 2019, the design teams will be sharing the outcomes of the critical design phase, as well as 1:1 prototypes and scaled models for the public to envision the future micro-parks and design concepts.

On view at a new storefront venue in Sai Ying Pun from 17th to 29th of January 2019, the design teams will be sharing the outcomes of the critical design phase, as well as 1:1 prototypes and scaled models for the public to envision the future micro-parks and design concepts.
As part of Design Trust Futures Studio 2018, the four design teams will be presenting their initial concept designs for our future parks. This half-day event will engage the public through presentation of the teams’ initial concept, round-table discussion from the advisory team, leading experts from the field, as well as the general public. M+ / Design Trust Fellow, Fan Lok Yi will also share their current research on Shek Lei Playground.
Design Trust Futures Studio is pleased to present the “Future of Urban Parks: Principles, Prototypes and Policy”, a public lecture featuring internationally renowned architect Richard Hassell, Co-founder of WOHA, in dialogue with Hong Kong-based architects and sustainability experts.
